It depends where in Adelaide you are, as some areas can be many, many degrees lower than others. Or higher obv.The days might seem quite clement, but the nights, oh the nights....
Are extremely cold. People use electric blankets/ wear strange things to bed / and generally moan. IMHO it can get snuggled-under-blanket cold, and the nights can be much colder than you might have experienced in the UK mainly because the houses are not (mostly) designed to retain the heat, and central heating is just a European joke.(Which isn't to say we don't have heating systems.Just that IMHO, they're not as efficient.)
