Red face Wish Us Luck . Medicals Tomorrow

Hello all!

We are newbies to this forum and sooo glad we have found you!

Can you please cross, fingers, toes, eyes, legs.!! at approx 2.00pm tomorrow please as we are going for the dreaded medicals!
We are hoping to move to Adelaide. We have been accepted by South Australia under the STNI scheme and are now just wading through the most nerve wracking bits.

Our details have been sent off for the police checks (not sure if we will ever see those docs again!!!!) I am dreading the medical bit as I am sure I will be the weakest link and fail !!!

I can relate to so many people on this site. My hubbys parents really wanted us to go as they believe we will have a much better life but my mum won't even talk about it. Taking the grandchildren away from her, she'll never see us again...etc,etc

We fell in love with Adelaide when we visited two years ago.

So please wish us luck tomorrow. I have never been so nervous in my life.

Sarah (AKA Vicar Of Dibley)

Thanks for the best wishes Gizmo - as you can tell by my nick name I'm not the slimmest girl on the planet but as I tell folks I'm built for comfort not for speed! Hope that gets me though tomorrow!

Hi Dibley

You will be fine, I was really nervous before we had our medicals, but honestly it was nothing. Our doc, got us to lay on the bed then moved our joints around. Then she asked us some basic questions and that was it. Oh yes and we had to urinate into a little pot, not a difficult task for the men that one. Good luck.

Mrs TinB
PS loving life in Adelaide.

like you ive also managed to get myself on the large side, but hoping ive got a few months to try to get rid of some of it (been saying that for years), but i have read on other threads that this isnt a major factor as long as you are fit & healthy! prob get a lecture though, lol.

Hi Vicar

Will be thinking of you. Keep your mind off the bugs. I saw a program the other day where the whole garden moved with mouse bugs YUCK not nice at all especially when eating lunch.
