Hi there, please can some one help us? we would like to know what it is like to live in adelaide and which is a good suburb? We have two small kids and a dog, so are looking for a friendly. family orientated area. Our application has been submitted, so we are hoping to get our visas this side of xmas. Martin is a plumber, can anyone tell us what the work climate is like for plumbers in SA? Any help/replies would be appreciated.

With regards to the area, it depends on what you are looking for as a family. There are not really that many bad areas here, sure there are some but then you get those in most places.

Our friends moved there last June and are having a whale of a time.They have 2 boys 6 1/2 and 3 1/2 they also adore where they are.They keep trying to get us to change our minds and go there instead of WA.

They are in Largs Bay and have just bought a house there .They say it is a lovely area and are only 5 mins from the beach and the boys love there schools.

I'll ask them about plasterers.

We have heard that south and south east Adelaide is the better area to live.

Is there alot to do for the children in Adelaide? Melbourne is our other choice but we are concerned that Melbourne is too big, and also the climate will be better in Adelaide.

It is hard to decide when you've never been to a country that you want to spend the rest of your life in! Failing Melbourne or Adelaide, Sydney looks nice on Home and Away!

My friend says that area was recommended to them to but they found it to quiet and not a lot of people down there but say lots of people like it.They also didn't think there wasmuch to do down there.

THey love the area they are in and so do there boys east access to everything with lots to do

They are in the process of moving house so said once they were in she would look at plumbers
