Just heard that our visas have been granted. Going over on SIR Visa to Adelaide, we should be gone in May. Thought this time would never come.
I wanted to thank this forum for making the whole process alot easier. Theres so much info on here that it allows you to weigh up the pros and cons and consider all those things that we hadn't thought of.
We sent the application in online it got there in early Jan and was granted today.....thats the way to go!!!!!
We have two kids and its taken us along time to get to where we are in the UK..........we're prepared to give it up, leave family and start again in Aus.........I think to do this with a family you all have to want to go..if only one person is in the driving seat its gonna be tough!!!!! The younger ones section of this site is great for the kids.
As one forum user who moved over to Aus in the 70s said........"get over here this is KELLY COUNTRY!"
