Adelaide or not

Hello all

Me & my girlfriend Andrea are traverling from England on the 18th of Feb.
Landing in perth spend 3 days there. then train to Adelaide. we are traverling round the country to see where to live. AdelaideI think is favorite for both of us.

Can any one really tell us if it is such a great place. I'm a plumber and we intend on spending about £150000 ($375000) on a house.

Where for that money and considering the job I do would be a good place to live. I don't mind traverling into work every day.

we are starting to be nervouse now but I suppose this is normal.

Hi, i would suggest you rent for a while and have a good look round, for that sort of money you should get a decent enough house fairly close to the city and you shouldnt have any problems with work. Like the UK every suberb has its good and not so good points, its better if you drive round on weekends and have a look at whats on offer. I took advise from family and didnt realise i had so many options. I'm sure you will not regret the move. Good luck for the future.
