hi - We too are hoping to move to Adelaide - just in early stages of application.

I have been to Adelaide - its lovely. I travelled around oz when I was 21 (14years ago) so obviously wasnt interested in the same things as I am now, ie schools, homes, enviroment etc - more Happy hour at the pubs!

However, I do remember the town as very nice and clean and going to a big shopping centre which had lots of floors and on the top floor was fairground and it had roller coaster which was above all the floors and you could look rright down to the bottom of the centre.....its was fab and I hadnt seen anything like it before or since!

I have been to Perth, Sydney, Brisbane, Cairns, Goldcoast and Darwin and have got to say that they all were absolouty (sorry cant spell!) and would be happy to move to any of them - they all offer different things but could adapt to most families, couples etc.

It would be difficult for me to choose where to live - for us, its more or less been decided as my husbands job is need in Adelaide - and I'm happy about that.

Darwin, is probably the only one that I wouldnt live - It was a fantastic place - but really really hot and it really did feel like a 'mans world' there.

Whereever you go - it will be what you make of it - for me its the people, they have such a positive and 'no worries' attitude.
