SA State Sponsor Refused due to glitch :(

Hi guys just want to share I applied for ss sa last may 14 received my docs on may 22. However, after I filled up my application form on may 14, when I was filling up the part G about the funds, whenever I keyed in the amount that I have, the website resets it back to zero I think its a glitch. I tried more than 10 times filling up the funds but it automatically resets to zero. So I clicked submit thinking the zeros would dissapear and what I wrote would appear but it didnt it was still zero.

So after I submitted my app online, I emailed the officer and told them there was glitch online and what I was keying in goes back to zero. The officer replied to me the next day he told me:

Thank you for your email. In this instance Immigration SA will add your financial answers for Section G of your online application, to your record on our administration system.

Immigration SA will use the following amounts to ascertain if the meet the financial requirement.

However, I received my result this afternoon it says refused since I have zero money if I go to south australia. Im really shocked since the officer told me SA will add my financial answers for section G but they didnt even got back at me. I was waiting everyday for their email about rectifying the amount of funds but they never emailed me. Im really frustrated and heartbroken about this, I got rejected because of the glitch online. Not my fault. I emailed already the officer awhile ago and hoping for his response tommorow hopefully. There was really a glitch online taht time maybe it was very late when I was filling up the form around 11pm but it just feels so unfair because of a glitch they refused my app.

Has anyone here had the same case? If so what are the chances that they will let me appeal so I can have a positive outcome??

I feel devastated, dont want to do anything now, its like my life completely stopped huhuhu its not even my fault.

Hi, folks!

I encountered a problem during submitting on-line application in SA web site.When I went through all steps it was revealed that the system blanked some of my personal details(name, surname etc). Does anybody face the same problem?

I did but the part with the show money amounts are the only fields that got cleared on my application. So I emailed them back about this after my application but in the end I had a refused application due to insufficient funds. I was furious so I emailed them and I stated that there was a glitch online and they believed me. I told them I will send my bank account copies to show that I really have funds so I ended up doing that. After that I got an approved state sponsorship the next day.

You should email them immediately about this matter I think somehow they know that glitches do happen. Just tell them there was a glitch and they will accept your reason.

Had the same problem and discontinued my application for the meantime.

It is rather weird that there are only three people faced this issue. I'll call them and ask for the assistance via telephone to trash this as quickly as possible. Maybe our browser is obsolete? or is not supported by their system.

I dont think its your browser I think their website themself is the one that gets affected by the glitch. I have a feeling theres a lot more people that do experience the glitch maybe they havent not posted here.

Surely the fact you have a dated email from them stating they will add the info and that you reported the glitch is suffice enough to clear this matter up.

Hi All,

I made application for state sponsored for SA and online application did not have any issue.

Also any of people post the application cover sheet with supporting document they have asked?

How long it will take to get decision regards to state sponsored application?

Also I did not come across any thing regards to application free. Wonder SA do state sponsored free of charge
