Back From Edinburgh Meet

Hi Everyone Concerned,

I just wanted to say thanks for a great afternoon and evening yesterday.

You all made us feel so welcome as newies, and it was great chatting to everyone face to face, we had a really great time.

Thank you to the Keily's for organising the meet, You are a great bunch of people.

Good luck to Steve and Mandy (Hope have remembered right names) on the big move in four weeks, hope all goes smoothly and you get the job, sending you best wishes for the future.

Good luck to everyone, and the rest of the journey.

was thinking about you lot this weekend - sorry we couldnt go - shame i would loved to have met everyone

anyway i am sure it was a blast and some celebrations were had for those who recently got granted their visas

am sure you will all post replies later tonite when the alcohol flows again knowing you lot

What a weekend it has been again weve had a spaceman,a supermodel,stand up comedian,breakfast youll never forget,thrown out of the poshiest pub in the world,police after jo and her infectious laugh,keily's have open house on there room,dedicated musicians giving private performances,jerry showing us his lastest purchase,mouldy bread,special transport laid on by rich and co,jo and jerry breaking bmibabys plane,i even pulled (mind you she was a bit of a dog though but got better looking as the night went)and to top it off we went to the fastest chip shop in the world.
And the rest i just can't remember
Brilliant weekend just want to thank everybody who came and sorry to the couple we missed would have been great to have met you.

Hi Steve,

Thanks for the good luck wishes for Tam, he is now on his way down to the college at Glasgow, so heres fingers crossed.

Hopefully we will be in Mornington also and would be good to meet up.

Thanks for that, I am trying to keep myself busy so I don't think about it too much, had my bathroom cleaned before 8am this morning, and most of other stuff finished not long after that (how sad am I), so am off up the street now with the girls to keep me going!!!! Spoke to Tam earlier after he had been given his instructions and he said he was really nervous, said everyone looked so much more comfortable with things than he felt, so hope he gets on ok (poor thing).

Will keep all posted.

Hi all,
I don't know what happened on Saturday but my OH and I pitched up at the Hotel at 5.45pm to be told everyone had left about 5pm! We couldn't get a baby sitter till tea time and rushed along but obviously missed you all as they were changing the room over for an evening function - We checked in the bar downstairs and reception to see if you had left any follow on instructions (as I assumed from reading the previous blog that you would be going on a bit of a pub crawl) but no one had anything.
Its a pity as we were really looking forward to meeting you all as we leave in 4 weeks too - never mind, hope we can make it to one when we are all in Australia...if you are going to Brisbane that is!!
I hope you enjoyed Edinburgh, at least we had nice weather for you, for a change.
