Hi
We are not far from Sutton Coldfield. Where are you? Did you know there is a Midlands meet up tomorrow? It's North of the Midlands, but if you search for the thread then you'll find the location - sorry can't remember it off the top of my head. There are quite a few of us going, so if you're up for it, see you there!!!

Talking Sutton Coldfield - Just Sold the house!!! Removal advice gratefully received.

Hi, I wish we knew about the meeting earlier would definitely have come but only just spotted it. House has been up for sale since last August and we have only just sold. Fingers crossed its all definite. We have got to act quickly now and get everything organised - our deadline was always to go by Sept '08 as our son has just finished his A Levels and wants to sort uni out over there - looks like we should make it if everything goes smoothly.
Giving 8 weeks notice tomorrow - yippee!! They have known it was going to happen but I think even they were beginning to wonder if it ever would!

Happy to give advice on the process thus far - happy to receive advice on the whole moving scenario as we're starting to panic - happily panic!!

We'll start a blog of the process from sale to settling in .........

Hi Tracy
We are not far from Lichfield. I have a 13 year old daughter who is really into going and excited about it. If you want her to talk to your daughter she posts on here as EllieP94, or she is on MSN. She might be able to talk her into it. We have been there before so Ellie will be able to tell her what it's like. You could also set her up on here with a user name. Lots of kids come on here and it might make her feel a bit better.

hi karen

yes our daughter is terrible about going she wants my brother to adopt her, i know she dont mean it but we know our biggest problem will be her unhappiness. she is so active dances over 20 hours a week very athelitic and sporty but she dont want to leave her mates. if her heart breaks then i know mine will. My daughter is lauren I will pick a good time to tell her to get intough with your daughter. Where you planning to go and how far down the process are you
