there are about 4 or 5 of us from lincs that visit this site quite regular, we fly out in aug to melbourne.

My husband and I are seriously thinking about starting the process. We live 4 miles from Boston, 11 from Spalding. Get in touch oif you think that may be useful.

Hi......we live in a little village near Louth...........if you don't know where that is.........near mablethorpe...ish.....anyway......we would love to exchange thoughts and ideas..........and maybe make some friends before we go.........

we are just waiting now like everyone else........waiting for visa's and to sell the house........

Many thanks for reply, I am also tryiny to start the process, its difficult to know
where to start, just trying to find out as much information as I can from various
places, am very new to this site but there seems to be a lot of useful information and comments here,I am from just outside Louth, and would like to retire in or around
Melbourne, the whole operation seems a little (lot) daunting!

Hi everyone from Lincolnshire

It's great to know that others from this area are also going or have already gone to OZ - we are Debbie and Dave plus Michael (Mikey as he likes to be called now) our 14 year old son. Dave is a marine engineer and is getting a business sponsorship 457 visa. We are going to WA. I am both very excited but so scared at the same time. We love Lincolnshire - we moved up 7 years ago from Kent because it was getting so busy busy busy. I love England but it's just not what it used to be sadly. Of course OZ will be so very different but hopefully a very positive different and we certainly intend to make the very best of it. We are now waiting on the sale of the house - we can't afford to rent it out so have to sell. Fingers crossed it will go through soon!

Would love to hear from you guys.
