Hi Tania, Glad your back with us! I'm glad you all enjoyed it, it was fun and really nice meeting you all too. No go with the house yet again. Had someone come yesterday too, but I think they were in competition with the Beverley Hillbillies! So onwards and upwards. I got invited to my brothers sister in laws wedding in Ontario, Canada last night. After looking at flights for oz yesterday (gone up by £200 in a week!) it will be cheaper to go to Toronto then Sydney on a round the world ticket - crazy world!

Its not until August 23rd, but I think that is good really as it gives me a bit of breathing space before the off. I'm now hoping to go about the 20th August, stay for a week and then head to oz, arriving about 29th August and one day before the first day of Spring. It will give me a bit of time to accliamatize before the hot weather begins. I'm really quite excited! It will be good to see the family again - not seen them for 4 years! How bad is that!

Hi Chris and Deb, how are you both, how long have you been in Oz??? I do know Maybank well, as i only live in Clayton, Born and bred in Newcastle. My first hairdressing job was in Maybank and i have a good friend who lived in Maybank (she lives in Basford now). We are hoping to move to Victoria asap depending on visas and sale of house etc. I have a friend who emigrated last year she lives in Mornington.. I'm hoping to be doing my hairdressing once out there.
