Calling all you Westcountry People...
Hi All

Well, here goes.
Been on this site for a while and been tempted to suggest a meet up for those of us considering a life down under and currently living in the beautiful Westcountry.

We are in the Plymouth area of Devon, but happy to meet at the most convinient place for all interested.

We are off to Oz on a rekkie in just over 2 weeks, so thinking of mid July/Aug time.

Be really good to hear from anyone else down here that would like to meet up. A family event of course, so those of us with big/small kids need to think of some family friendly options for the meet

well I'm interested Sandra, but we live in North Devon. Might be a bit of a trek even to meet half way? See what responce you get! I do think the having a meet would be great idea, seems to work really well in other areas! Keep in touch!

Hi Sandra, I'm sure you will get a great response from people, it only take one person to start the thread...........

But, in saying that, i'll keep an eye on this post if you don't mind, because Mr KP's sister lives in Cornwall, and we will be coming to see her sometime in August.

Sandra def keep us posted (Nicola, OH Mark & dd Amber whose nearly 20mths). We're in Exeter & planning on moving to Redcliffe but not for a few years yet (got to finish qualifications etc 1st)

I'm sure there must be more of us in darkest Devon/Cornwall.
Anyway, for those of us so far, does anyone have any thoughts on where they would like to meet?

Although in fairness, it is a fab place to live so I guess everyone is too busy out enjoying our lovely sunny weather at the mo
