Well it is just 2 1/2 weeks now til the meet and I need some info from you guys. I have made the booking at the China Fleet, they have booked out a space upstairs for us from 12-3pm but it can go on longer if the mood takes us.
If you log onto the China Fleet website>>dining>>brasserie>> you can view their menu. I need to pay a £5 deposit per person for those who are eating, we need to pre order and they would like our orders by Mon 18th Aug- next Mon!!!! I am sure if we have most in by then that will be fine, but if you can let me know asap then please do.
I am happy to pay the deposit, but obviously this is a risk on my part, so please lets all make the time and turn up! Me and OH are sooooooooooo busy at the mo, only 11 weeks til we go, but we are keen to meet up and have a relaxing afternoon, a good chin wag etc, so if we can make it I'm sure you can.
Those confirmed already I will PM and be great if you can get back to me asap. Anyone who has not let me know but is interested then feel free to PM me.

I'm just pushing this thread up to let anyone who is not yet aware, that this meeting is this coming weekend (Sunday 31st August). There are currently 22 people confirmed as attending, but of course anyone else wishing to come along will be more than welcome. I do urge you to PM Sandra though, confirming your intention to be there and to order any food that you might require.
I look forward to meeting all who attend and I'm sure we will have a great day.......whatever the weather may be !

Evening all you westcountry folk

Just a quick reminder about our up coming meeting on Sunday at the China Fleet.
We are meeting at 12pm for some food and chat, we have an area inside reserved, but if the sun shows it face then there are some nice areas to sit outside. So far there will be around 30 of us, with a mixture of those that have been to Oz, those that havn't, those moving soon and those nearer the start of the process, so I'm sure we can all offer some help and share info.
All are welcome, but if you can PM me if you are thinking of coming and havn't yet let me know, that would be great.

Hi Sandra, I have recently joined PIO and was informed about the meeting by Ray and Hayley, will be attending, Myself Martin, wife Lynette, Nadine (12), JJ (8) and Kylah (6), we are members of China Fleet so can get in no problems. I am in the process of transfering from the Royal Navy to Austarlian Navy and look forward to all the advice.
