Lancashire meet ????????

Hi Gwen, hope you are well? We're pretty new to the site and have only just picked up on the meet planned for the 24th May. We're really interested in coming along and meeting up with everyone - sounds great. We live in Blackburn and have travelled to Blackpool a lot but never heard of this place but i'm sure we'll find it.

Hope you don't think i'm interfereing and you may have already done this, but is it worth letting the venue know that they are going to be decended upon on Saturday by a group of people wearing cork hats!!! LOL.

Hi Gwen, really looking forward to seeing everyone on Saturday. We are hoping to be there for about 11.00 ish although with 3 children you never know what may happen on your way out of the door!!!

Geoff has quite a large Australian flag which we are hoping to dig out and bring with us so our 'meet' is noticable to those who are joining us!!

I'm going to try and dig out an Ozzy phrase book that Geoff brough me back from Australia a few years back - there is loads of daft phrases in it so it should be good for a laugh on the day!

Yeah but unfortunatly I can't make this one as I have family over from Spain. I am though very interested in coming to the next one. Fingers crossed there will be another. I do hope that everyone has a lovely time!

Got the day off so we will be there, never did get chance for that "brew" so looking forward to meeting up with you and the rest of the gang.......

Have we to sort some stickers out beforehand or will we be all stickered up when we get there?
