Back from the York meet!

Just wanted to say a big THANK YOU to Karen for organising the York meet.

Didnt know what to expect, but what a great bunch of people we met! Couldn't believe how fast the time flew, chatting and getting to know everyone. Really sorry we missed out saying hello to a few of you.

Im sure the guys who stopped over last night are still in bed after the heavy night of (more)drinking they were planning as we left - hope you all had a great time! Look forward to seeing the photos!

Will catch up with you all on here again soon, i hope.

A pleasure to meet some of you yesterday (not that it wasn't a pleasure to meet others... it's just that we didn't get time to meet everybody... you know what I mean... I'm just rambling now, lol)

I made the mistake of turning up and not remembering my PIO login name, and went on to introduced myself with a login name I use on some other forums (Fat Tony) so no wonder some blank looks, lol

Thanks one and all for making it a lovely evening, and especially Karen for going to the bother of organising it, and Steve for that very moving speech .

I hope there aren't too many bad hangovers this morning.

Seems to have been a few of us from the Leeds/York area so maybe we can meet up every now and again?

Just to echo these sentiments - it was brill to meet people with the same aims and the whole night was a really good laugh. Dan and I really enjoyed it. Will look forward to the next one!

Great Day glad we made the effort. Shame we didnt get round to speaking to all of you but it was bad enought with the ones we did (STEVE) lol. Bring on the next and maybe we can stop over and really be Party poms. Thanx again for a great day

had a great day......and night.......hope i didn't miss behave toooooooo much......we met some lovely people.........just so this doesn't turn into an oscar speach......you know who you are!!!!........(lol)

Oh and Karen.......I so hope you appreciated the chocolates.......we spent soooooooo much time chatting ......we missed our meal at the hotel!!!!!.......apparently I was talking to much.......(strange).....anyway.......24hr service didn't turn up.........i only had a bloody complimentary hobnob to eat......!!!! i was starving.........and all i could think about was them choccies......next time......i won't be brave.....if only i had kept them for myself.......oh well.....such is life.......(lol)...xxxxx

I agree with everybody else what a fantastic day we had, a big thankyou Karren and all the others involved.
We met a lot of loverly people and was nice to get there experiances.

If anyone Knows where i can hire that film that mick (sadsmile) told me about i would be very greatful.
