Don't think we got chance to talk to you at York but we're thinking of heading to Lake Macquarie/Newcastle areas, but haven't really done a reccie or anything. Will be going to stay in Hunter Valley when we first get there and are planning to have a few weeks checking out areas/schools etc. Where are you thinking of on Central coast?
By the way sorry we didn't get chance to speak but it was rather hard to do the full rounds, as you know yourselves.

Yes, it was impossible to speak to everyone but still worth it nevertheless. We are hoping to be in Oz sept 2009, I know it's a long way off but we are so excited! Initially staying in upmarket Mosman in Sydney rent free with OH sister until we OH gets job. There a few places I'd like to research: Gosford, Terrigal and any other decent places, family orientated, decent schools, commuting distance to either Sydney or Newcastle. Never heard of Lake Macquarie but will put on list for research.
What do you both do? How many kids? ages? When are you hoping to get there? Are you one of the Doormouse 12? tell all...i'm intrigued...

No we aren't one of the Dormouse 12 but stayed for the Saturday night and had a great time.
Mark is a sparky and I'm a skivvy (sorry! housewife!!) We have a (nearly) five yr old girl called Ciara.
Will be staying with my brother when we arrive and don't know when yet cos' we're waiting for Mark's outcome of the Vetasses practical that he did on 8th April, so in a bit of limbo as we can't put main application in yet.Aaaarggh!!! If we were there for end of 08 or beg 09 we'd be quite happy so fingers crossed! Got to get house on the market as well yet so who knows???
