We arrived in Safety Bay just before xmas and we have had relatives from the Uk staying with us on and off since xmas, which has kept us really busy. However, we have now got to try and settle into the aussie life and I must admit we have found it difficult making new friends. Would love to hear if you are arranging another meet in the Rockingham, Mandurah area. My husband is 41 im 42 and we have a 12 year old son.

Hi Astburys, how lucky you are already having relatives over to visit. As far as making friends goes try talking to mums at school and neighbours maybe have a party, body shop or something. Hope this helps, we are hoping to be in Safety Bay this year so maybe we could meet for a coffee

I off work this week-end(26/27 April) - going to a concert in Fremantle on Saturday, but could meet Friday night or Sunday. Hi there, I been in Mandurah for 10 months now and really enjoy it. Me, Hayley 26, OH Barrie 27 and 2yr old daughter Ebony.
I met a few good friends through the "Welcome to Mandurah" group. They meet every Wednesday at the Mandurah Bowling Club from 10am to 12(ish). I used to go but now they changed it to Wednesdays I have to work. We got a good group of us now, all different ages and the girls are having a night out in Mandurah tomorrow night! If anyone out there wants to meet, I recommend going to the group (or PM me!). All ages welcome!!
