Meeting up in Melbourne? Anyone interested?

Hi we have been in Melbourne (Mount Martha for 5 weeks then Mooroolbark for 6 weeks) now and was wondering if anyway wanted to meet up? I am 37 (nurse) my husband Stuart (40) is a business anyalist and I have 2 boys 10 and 7 (nearly 8). My children to to Billanoock College and love every minute of it.

It would be great to meet up with anyone! Kind regards Karen

we are coming out in late december and i was wondering if you had any ideas on how much it is on average to rent and what areas to go to

HI Stuart. I have been addicted to 'where to live in Melbourne' for about a year. I scrolled through the whole document carefully trying to find the ideal place. Low crime rates, good schools etc. However despite all of this we moved into an area where we hated. (Mt Martha). I am a nurse and was working in Frankston which lets say has a low social enconomical stance.

Anyway, in the end my husband got a job in Kilsyth so we moved to Mooroolbark. The children to go Billanook College which they just love so this is the area we want to sort of settle in (if you can call it that). There are plenty of little 'towns' that you can choose. We pay $400 per week for a 3 bedroom house. In Mt Martha we paid £470 a week.

Where will you be living?

hello Karen,
myself and the other half arrived in melbourne on 7th march and are staying in an area called Glen Waverley for now. Still trying to find our feet as this is temp accom. Are you near or far? I am struggling with distances and where everything is. Happy to meet up for drinks and goss though.

not sure where we are going to live yet. we are flying into sydney and have got a week booked there and am trying to talk wife into a camper van for a few weeks
