We are in the same boat as everyone else so counts us in to. My wife had started another thread because she hadn't seen this one so there are lots out there looking to meet.

Have taken bull by proverbial horns, so here's a date and venue for starters!

What better way to start a Sunday morning than getting together with a few fellow Brits? (I'm sure someone will list all the better ways you could start a Sunday!!!!).
Anyway, get yourselves over to the Hills District - bring a plate of something simple to share and whatever takes your fancy to drink at that time of day.

10.30am onwards. That way you've still loads of time left to do whatever you usually do on a Sunday!

Kids/spouses/mother-in-laws etc all very welcome. PM me for address & phone no.

We'd be interested in a Sydney meet up. We're planning to come out end of July to the Hills area (not sure where exactly till we come out to see where we like!) and it would be great to meet up with fellow PIOers!

hi can we join in please? we are not flying till 2nd june but would love to meet up. i am yvette (33) and my husband is simon we are feeling more and more anxious as the big day approaches and really like the idea of having some people to meet quite quickly. if you do meet up before we get out then would like to be involved with any future plans. anyone else going there in june?

Ezzie, sorry missed your reply didn pick it up till today. did many meet or was it a bit short notice. a nice sunday in darling harbour might be a good meet. there is a bar near the maritime museum right on the front or possibly a coffee shop around there. don't know if that is more central for others.

Just saw thread.

We (me, hubbie and 2 kids aged 2 and 5 years) are coming out in August, so if this is a regular meet we would certainly be up for it.

We know no-one in Sydney and the homesickness is already filling me with dread and we are not even in Sydney yet! Just need to keep busy.

It would be good to have something regular (once a month?) to put in the diary. Will keep an eye out for forthcoming posts.
