Any families around Doncaster

Hi all,

We are a family of 4, me aged 34 (today), and Mark 35, boy aged 11 and girl aged 7 who are adamant they are not going to australia.

We are just sending our TRA off so really at the begining of this stressfull time, was wondering if any familys living in or around Doncaster, S****horpe or Goole would like to meet up one weekend, it would be great to meet people who are in the same boat, and hopefully will help my kids to WANT to emigrate.

More the merrier.

there will be a meet up in York on 19th April. There isn't a fixed time and location yet but provisional plans are being made by those that are travelling. Hope to see you there.

I was born and bred S****horpe but all my family are from Donny, we now live in newcastle.

Hope to be at the meet in April in York may see you there.

Welcome to Poms in Oz, i'm sure your kids will come round mine have 14 and 12 my 18 year old not coming though unless I can drag him there he is 6 ft 1 though so may be difficult.

We are from Belton, which is half an hour away from Doncaster. We have relatives in both sunny scunny and Doncaster. Sorry can't meet up as we are already on Oz but just wanted to say hi and let you know people from that neck of the woods are over here. Do you know where in oz you will be heading fo yet?

Hi Lisa My O/H has a mate from Belton so know it well. We are probably heading to Perth, we have been looking at Butler, Secret harbour etc. Where abouts are you?

wow! I didnt realise so many people were thinking of leaving sunny Scunny lol! I live in Ealand near Crowle but currently at Uni in Newcastle. Really really considering moving out to Oz and planning a long holiday in the summer (here) to try find out more! I'd definately be interested in the York meet up and or any Donny Scunny get togethers!
