Meets in Essex - Page 3

Hi All, We went to one a while ago that Mr & Mrs KP Nuts had organised at the half way house and it was so nice to meet some people from this site - So if there is another one and the date is set then let us know please.

Baggo's we will miss you at the next one as you are already there in the land of Oz you lucky lucky people!!! And I've forgotten the User Name for the people that we met that came from Maldon, sorry guys but are you still on here???

It was easier in the Summer as lots of people had little children and they were able to run about outside, I suppose a venue for the Winter months could be a little tricky.

Anyone got anywhere in mind?? There is a pub in Chelmsford that has an indoor play area so that the younger ones are not too bored but not sure what age it goes upto!!

Hi All,
It would be great if we could arrange a meet, don't know where! It's petty easy for us for places as all our kids are 16 and above. It may harder for people with younger kids. We are happy with any venue. As for a date if we could arrange something before xmas, maybe even making it an xmas drink or something, especially for us who are having our last christmas here. I don't who can make it before xmas?
We are pretty much clear up to xmas and between xmas and new year (if that sounds a good time).

Hi Everyone
been on a couple of meets at the halfway house good fun talking to people about oz that are interested rather then the ones that cant wait to change the subject.
if nobody objects , why not go to the halfway houes again. its quite big inside but not alot for the kids if its raining but im sure they'l be ok.

Hi all you Essex lot. Me and OH are in Collier Row and would also be interested in a meet to discuss Oz. It would be good to talk about Oz to people who want to get up and leave this country. My husband works weekends but if you set a date for a Sunday we'll try really hard to swing it so we can be there. We know the Halfway house (we've got a 4 yr old and he does get bored). I know there's a place in Laindon (pub with an indoor play area). Can't remember name of it but it would keep kiddies occupied. I'll find out name (or maybe someone knows where I'm talking about.)

The dates for Sunday's in December are as you know already i'm sure.

2nd, 9th, 16th, and 23rd b4 xmas and 30th after.

I think I speak for most when I say that 23rd and 30th are no good! So that leaves the first three. If we go for the one in the middle the 9th, that is they day after my daughters 18th Birthday so we could extend the celebrations!

But we can do any of the dates and I don't want to sound like the Leader of the Pack or anything, I'm still new to PIO after all.

Hope this helps us set the date.

Someone got to take the bull by the horns April , so the 9th so far OK with us as long as I cant get my Christmas shopping done quickly now LOL

Again as new members, we dont want to create waves, but the second or 3rd Sunday are best.

It would be great to talk to people in same situation and learn lots of learns!

Ok so my two penneth, if the 9th is cool with everyone then the 9th it shall be, BUT i am known to be a little grumpy on my birthday so be warned, an as for youo Hammer you keep saying your coming but then another holiday date gets in the way, obviously your not a season ticket holder, LOL, (they are doin quite well though at the moment)

So go on then where, i dont care i'll drive there but i will not be driving back!!!!!!!!
