hi mark and joanne
just read your blogs, that was a question i was going to ask, how long it would take to drive to Sydney, thanks for that, weve some old freinds that live there and theres a course i want to take there also,
that beach looks really nice where you took the 4x4
good to see a wildlife page, most people who know were going to Oz say ooh no not all the spiders and snakes, we cant wait to see some wildlife..
a question about pets, our little girl wants a dog but she wants the one from come outside, a TV program in the UK, its a tibetan terrier, ive done some online searching in Oz and cant find any but made a promise, what are the dogs like, the same as in the UK or different breeds

Hope we can set date for November with everyone, we're really looking forward to meeting people with the same excitement as ours.
We,re going to caloundra area next September and we can't wait.
Ever since we got our visas in April thats practically all we've thought about.

Will have a lookie around and PM you anything I find. the Problem that you might have is that December is the main Summer hols and lots will already be booked. Best thing to do is literally "surf the net". Im not sure what holiday parks are around but I`ll see what I can find. Talk to CalNGary too.......they might be able to help. They live in Jimboomba and might be able to help as they have details about Short term rentals.

Meets in Essex

Hammer et al

We are new to POI but have already learned lots from the people and threads on site.

We live in Hornchurch and would welcome the idea of a meet. Being able to talk and gain vital information would be great for us!

Has a date been set?

Dont make it too close to this weekend just in case WH beat Spurs!

Hi Hammer,

We don't live in Essex but not too far away in Gillingham, Can We Come? Got a Tom Tom so should find you easy enough. Would really like to meet some other people in the same boat as us.

Thanks

April & Rich
