Hi to all
Visited Burleigh Heads in Feb 07 loved the area. Viewed a development (The Observatory @ Reedy Creek) fantastic houses but they were selling fast!!Have friends living there so had guided tours etc. Surfers Paradise OK for travellers but not too good for young families.Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary fantastic and worth a visit.
Just waiting for VISA
Hope this helps

EM&M will become famous soon enough
Hi All,

We have secured a rental in Varsity Lakes beside Varsity College, move in on Friday. Burleigh Heads is really nice and the beach there and the Surf Club are great. Some areas of Burleigh Waters are good lots of older style houses here. What M's Aunt said was that have to becareful around Varisty area due to the fact they renamed a older part (think it was called Stephenson area) and called it Varisty, this is slightly bringing down the Varsity name. I beleive its the Mattocks Road area (classed as Varsity Lakes) that have quite a lot of Council houses and I have been told that it kind of "comes alive" at night!!

I love Robina, the shopping centre is fab, good thing is that living in Varsity or Burleigh still means that it is only 10 min drive there. We found Merrimac a little far out for us, good if you want to be close to the highway. Rentals a little cheaper there or get more for your money. With M working is Burleigh Heads it would mean that I would have needed to take him to work every day and pick him up. Where we are it will take him 10-15 minutes on the bike (the exercise will do him good) lol

We went to Seaworld last week and we bought a annual pass so we can go when ever we want, how cool is that. We were there 6 hours and Ella had so much fun.

Might be offline a while when we get into rental until we sort out a pc and an internet connection.......

Catch u's all soon.

Em x

Hi Ria
We moved here over 2 years ago from Surrey & haven't looked back. You'll love it I'm sure. We're half way between Brissie & the Gold Coast, give us a shout if you're stuck with anything.
Heather
