Is there anyone thinking or, in the process of moving to Australia who originates from up this way.

I see many posts from South Wales but not North Wales. Would like to hear from anyone closeby or surronding areas.

We are in the "THINKING PROCESS" at the moment. Would love to take the giant step but a lot to consider.

Hi and welcome to PIO. Im from S Wales and try to organise meets once a month the next being in Cardiff on 2nd Sept im sure there are others from your neck of the woods but if not if you would like to join us your more than welcome. Good luck with your app.

You may see us down in Cardiff sometime. We used to live down there 10years ago, so maybe a visit is in order.

Have you decided where you would like to move too and how easy has the process been? We should be able to go on a 136 skilled visa.

Hi we are going on 136 skilled independant. We recieved a case officer this week so we are just waiting to be able to send meds off as i have a problem with my kidneys so seeing a specialist this week fingers crossed all will be ok and then we wait for golden email.

Like i said you would be vey welcome to join us or another option for you is to look at Burmingham or Manchester (i hope these are not too far from you).

If you have any questions just post on here someone will be able to help you.

We live not far from you, in Ellesmere actually, but I work in The Wrexham Maelor Hospital. I Was in Wrexham today as well doing shopping for school bits.

We are off to Melbourne next June by the way. If I can help in any way with your planning etc just PM me and maybe we can meet up for a chat - 'a North Wales meet'!!

Thanks. What a small world we live in. What ward do you work on?

I take it your the main applicant. My hubby is an aircraft fitter so we're just researching at the mo. Going to expo in Manchester Oct. Also have 2 boys aged 15 and 11, so we need to think about schooling.

Lot to think about, but it has been a dream of mine for quite a while and now hubby is comming round to my way of thinking.

I work in theatres, recovery actually. I have two daughters aged 14 and 15 and a half. Waiting for Hollie to finish her GCSE's next June and then we're off!!!
