Any in Epping / Carlingford and the hill districts? Group Gathering / community meet

Hi there

We've moved to Sydney about 7 months (26 and 34 but then age doesn't matter !) and stayed in Neutral Bay for the first 5 months. However, we figured we can never buy a nice big place there so we had to look elsewhere. We chose Epping in the end.

Anyway, I have met alot of nice people through work and out of work but alot of them are traveller / backpacker living in the city. I would like to explore around my neighbourhood and community.

I'm wondering if there are anyone living around in the above area, if so, it would be great if we can have some kind of group gathering (say BBQ, a day in the park with wine / foods....etc). Please let me know and I will build a list up and let me know if you want to help on this great ambition of mine.
