Anyone in Perth interested in a Games Club?
Hi all,

Once I move to Perth I'm keen to start up a games club. There used to be a Backgammon club but it seems to have folded. The Bridge Club in South Perth seems to still meet though so that's something.

Is anyone else here into games - card, board - whatever?

Also back in the UK we had sewing clubs and also book clubs. Anyone interested in that? It's really just a way of getting people together but having the icebreaker of a function and since I'm not a drinker I figured some evening gatherings may work...

If anyone is, please get in touch. I'm not over until December but just trying to get an idea of numbers. One thing lacking here in Melbourne is any sort of 'community' spirit - there's no heart to anywhere so I'm hoping I can make a difference in Perth and kick something off.
