we haven't decided on an area yet - keep hearing different things about places.Skills assessment was sent off a couple of weeks ago (this takes about 2 months) so when that is back we apply for visas. Hoping to be out there by end of Jan.

Hi we are a family from Marsden in west yorkshire, although originally from Oldham and Newcastle. We are in are early 30s with 2 kids, 7 and 18 months. We are emigrating to Brisbane on 22 August 2006 and are really looking forward to it. Thinking about moving to Mango hills as we liked that when we went looking last year but hoppe to eventually move to Coolum which is gorgeous. Anyone who is going soon we would love to get to know you.

Carl and Eileen

Hi Paula,

Living Brisbane (wife & I). Been here since April but in Aus for 8 yrs now - previously NSW. Originally from Earby. Used to socialise in Barrowford a fair bit, had friends who lived in Dixon St. They live in Roughlee now. August is good time to arrive I reckon, end of UK summer beginning spring.
