Hi Guys... these links are really useful!! I've been trying to decide whether to replace here or when we get over there (hopefully Aug/Sept) so this is a great guide.

Does anyone know about bed sizes in Oz, we want to get a Super-King size but looking at the sites there doesn't seem to be any... or is this Queen size???

Thanks

Jules

Does anyone know whether you can negotiate prices if you pay cash in Super A-Mart?

Just something to think about - the prices here say for Ikea are about 20% more expensive than the UK. In general I have found furniture more expensive, but not to say you don't get the quality because you do. We have shipped our stuff but have had to buy extra bits as we only had a 2 bed flat's worth of furniture (now in a 4 bed house) and we are really glad we did. Re-buying a whole house worth of things becomes very expensive. It's only my opinion from what we have found here...but I think shipping is a good idea for a fair amount of stuff if you have lots. Good luck.
