_shel Posted February 6, 2010 Share Posted February 6, 2010 Not happened to me, still waiting on mine, but think this depends on if they are on the Temp or PR part of their visa. PR is PR, you get to stay. If on the temp part they will have to leave but there are provisions for people leaving abusive partners to be allowed to stay. Though not sure what 'evidence' would need to be shown to prove that is the reason for the split.
