Guest Carrie Posted October 15, 2008 Share Posted October 15, 2008 Hi, Are there poms around New Norfolk? The housing looks English? The pubs look quaint. Are outsiders welcomed ? What are the schools like? Can anybody advise or offer suggestions for places to live around this area. Would a primary school teacher have a chance of employment here? Worried we would be jumping out of the pot into the fire !! Even though the climate appeals. Toughed it out for four years looking for the most suitable area to suit us both. Struggled to have jobs at the same time. One of us has always been at the end of their tether. We have always given Australia a good go but feel we haven't been given the same treatment.
