Guest TeamTalbot
Hi. Are there any PIO's living in or near woolgoolga on the NSW North Coast? I would love to know what it's like. We will be moving to Oz as soon as we sell our house (it's just gone on the market)!!!! I can't wait to go and live in the sunshine!
hoorayhenry
Hi there I passed through 'Woopi', as it's known to the locals, last year. It's quite a small town, nice beach, few shops, large ruined Sikh Temple - the natives seemed friendly! I liked it. It's handy for Coff's Harbour too, if you wanted a larger town. Hope that helps. Guest sydneyshell
I am Aussie and spent a few holidays around Woolgoolga (and my Sister just spent a week there) and it is GORGEOUS. A bit of a holiday town, but as the PP said, Coffs is near enough for a visit to 'town.'
Guest linziwilson
hey !!! wow, was surprised to see Woolgoolga mentioned !!! We are currently living in Jersey, Channel Islands but moving out to oz at the end of the year, my husband is from oz , and i just got my spouse visa.... we've been searching high and low for somewhere to settle, his family are based in and around casino.. then we found a new development in a tiny beach town called Corindi Beach, literally 10 mins north of Woolgoolga... we've just bought a plot of land there 300m from the beach for $145 000.... the whole area looks awesome... beautiful beaches, rainforest, hinterland etc etc.... my husband was speaking to a guy from Woolgoolga yesterday who is helping us out with the new build and he said he moved up there with his family 10 years ago from Cronulla and has never looked back. How did you guys come across Woolgoolga ? Linzi x
