Life on easy street
At the very least visit there for a week or so to see what you think It is quite literally in the centre of Australia Good place to visit but I would not want to live there. I prefere the rainforests of Queenland.

Guest Gollywobbler
HI again Wiccan This thread is relevant to you as well: Somebody doing the same work as Scott does asked about the pay in Perth. The reply he got in July 2007 was: I can't help with Perth but $40 per hr in Alice Springs and $60 per hr out of town is normal STEVE Here is the thread: http://www.pomsinoz.com/forum/jobs-careers/22686-ground-working.html Cheers Gill
Guest Gollywobbler
And again, Wiccan Just read the whole thread even though it is now 3 years old. It sounds like, with the help of knowledgeable locals, you could have the most amazing weekends without it costing much at all: http://www.pomsinoz.com/forum/nothern-territory-tasmania-act/15734-aaah-first-post.html Cheers Gill
