Graphic Design Applicants?

Hi, just looking for some advice please off anyone who has migrated to work a Graphic Designer?

My partner would be the main applicant with this as this role, I would be applying as an NHS Administrator which is not on the skills shortage list.

Has anyone recently successfully applied recently and how easy was the process?

We are both in our early 30s

The occupatio is only on the CSOL, so requires sponsorship by a business or state. There are two states sponsoring it - NT and ACT

 

the process is to first check points and ensure he can pass the skills assessment. The skills assessment is a mix of proving qualifications and experience (generally the minimum amount required must be post qualification).

 

 

With points, most people find they need to undertake one of the English tests such as ILETS.

 

Once you have a positive skills assessment and a positive English test (if needed) at the appropriate score, you can apply for sponsorship and lodge an expression of interest.

Yes we have looked into the points and are confident that we could get a minimum of 60 but hopefully could obtain more with the English test.

Do you know of anyone who has successfully been sponsored to work as a Graphic Designer that we could contact?

That's good to know, thank you. Did your friend obtain work before leaving the UK or did they go over first to seek work?

If possible, we would like to be put in contact with your friend if they wouldn't mind to see if there are any current positions in the company they're in and whether they would consider sponsoring more Brits!
