Marsuz
I would really appreciate help with these questions: 1. Do you have to be in Australia when you apply for either the 884 or 864 Aged parent visas? 2. What is the approximate cost of the 884 Temporary Aged Parent Visa? 3. Is there an Aged Parent Visa that can be applied for from England? 4. Is there a minimum income required by the application for either of these visas? Many thanks

Marsuz
Many thanks for your reply. I would be very grateful if you can help me with the following: Re. Question 2. The cost of 884 visa I am enquiring about would be for a single person 69 years old. I have a daughter resident in Australia. Please can you tell me which visa I would need to enter Australia, which would then enable me to apply for either the 884 or 864 visa? Kind regards and thanks. Alan Collett
I will only say here that you should not be planning to enter Australia with the known intention of applying for a permanent residency visa onshore. Beyond that I recommend you consider approaching a registered migration agent to discuss your visa strategy. Until you have resolved this conundrum the other issues are somewhat academic. Best regards.
