bunbury61
Better service usually as correlation with tipping cultures. Yes I can imagine ,but I don't think the service was any better . I was in Vegas last year ,in terms of service ,across the board ,nothing stand out
Bound4Tassie
I think you would be lynched if you tried it here in the local Coles. :wideeyed: And rightly so! :biglaugh:
newjez
Yes I can imagine ,but I don't think the service was any better .I was in Vegas last year ,in terms of service ,across the board ,nothing stand out I still remember the hotel porter in Vegas who insisted on carrying my bags a very long way, and offered to show me how everything worked in the room etc etc. I had to stop his fawning, and after I'd told him I'd just stepped off the plane and had no local currency and only loose change in my home currency, the look of contempt he gave me would have withered a lesser man. I would prefer sincere service any day compared to the effectual begging service that you get in the states. It's nice when someone goes out of their way because they get a nice feeling from helping people.
