k1rsty
Hello... has any one with PR ONLY travelled to the UK with a new baby, our baby will be 3 months when we would like to head back. What passport did you obtain and if it was a uk passport were there any issues getting baby back in to aus? thanks
Quoll
If you are PR and your baby was born in Australia then they are Australian citizens so you need to get them an Aussie passport - that's the only way for Aus citizens - in and out on Aus passports. Going back to UK for a holiday or forever? If you are only going for a holiday then they could go in and out on their Aussie passport which will get a defined time in UK stamp (6 months? 3 months? I've heard both, recently). If you are going forever then you need to get their UK passports as well.
k1rsty
Oooo no we're only for a holiday be there for around 6 weeks. Would we need to obtain a citizen certificate or would the birth certificate be sufficient to apply for a an aus passport? Thank you so much for your advice
