I want to purchase a cast iron wood burner from the uk but we have to find our own courier so just wondered if any could recommend any companies? I'm just curious how you go about getting a permit to import one of these? As it has to comply with two Australian standards codes - one for emissions and one for safety - can you get approval before it leaves the UK or do you wait until it arrives and hope it passes the standards test?
