Bungo
It would really depend how much you want to spend on your house, your car and how quickly you get jobs. :wubclub:

VERYSTORMY
First, you definitely need to budget for a car. Second, never assume you will be working straight away, you should budget it will take 3 months at best and preferably 6 months. Third, don't worry too much yet about buying. I advise you to rent for a while to learn suburbs and where you like. Things appear very different in real life to on line. When we moved, we thought we were certain about the three we were going to live in. When we arrived we realised they were the three we disliked most. in any event, the banks will not give a mortgage without several months of being in work. Forth, budget for leaching cash when you first arrive. It is extraordinary how much is spent in the first couple of months. Does your 85k include shipping, temp accommodation and things?
