srg73
Sat here watching the storm go through, great lightening show although a little close for comfort given we sit at the top of Bowen Hills. One positive, it's cleared some humidity. S
Nemesis
Sat here watching the storm go through, great lightening show although a little close for comfort given we sit at the top of Bowen Hills. One positive, it's cleared some humidity. S That makes a nice change, Brisbane storms usually leave the place with the same 90%+ humidity as before! Guest The Pom Queen
It wasn't as bad as the one the other day with the hail.
srg73
The storm was bigger here in central Brisbane however no hail. Dalby and Ipswich generally get the worst of the weather.

Gbye grey sky
Was it a big storm? We saw the lightening and heard the thunder but none were overhead. We were so grateful for the rain here in Mt Cotton as most showers go around us. For the first time in many weeks the ground got a proper soaking and refilled our water tanks. Still very hot and humid today and more storms are threatened for later on. Tomorrow should be clear and hopefully the humidity will then start to fall a little. Mike@Bonbeach
LIGHTNING not lightening. Mike. Seems to be a common mistake here. Even on my golf club's website they talk about what will happen if lightening is in the area.
