Guest Luc
Hey guys!! I'm extremely excited for my WH in Australia. But they just requested more information from me and it looks like my timeframe will be screwed up. They me to get a health examination, but only at one of their approved panel clinics, 8 hour drive from me and $500... Is it possible to get a tourist visa and then change it after I get the health examination in Australia? Or does the visa require you to be out of the country and a re-entry. I did this in Korea. I had to do a "visa-run" to Japan. The problem is that I've already booked my flight. Thanks everyone! Luc
VERYSTORMY
It is the first time I have heard of a whv requiring a medical! A first time time whv must apply offshore and be offshore when granted.
dan89
Yes, you must be offshore when the visa is granted. I think there is no chance to avoid the medical if you want to enter on your whv. Good luck!
