NSW State Sponsorship timeline for Mechanical Engineers...??

HI Guys,

I have applied for NSW state sponsorship on 05th Sep 2016 as a Mechanical Engineer. I am making 55 points already and looking for 5 points from State Sponsorship.

My queries to the community:-

a) What is the time line for getting an invite/response? Can we check the status of our application online? If yes,please share the link.

b) Is there any cap for the no of State Sponsorship for this category? I mean is it separate for each occupation or combine?

c) It is mentioned that applications are picked up on merit basis? Which merit they are relating to over here?

d) Is there anyone in this forum with similar profile and applied for NSW? If yes, then please share the timeline which has been taken for your application?

e) Also, my IELTS score is valid till 20th Sep 2016 so Do I have to appear again for IELTS to continue with my EOI?

f) What is the limit for IELTS/PTE score for Subclass190 ?
