It's definitely somewhere I'd consider for our girls if we end up down that way. It's the only Steiner school in Tas. Just wondering if anyone knows of it locally? Skani Posted October 5, 2015 Share Posted October 5, 2015 I don't have first hand knowledge of family or friends attending the school but I have heard the comment "You can recognise a Tarremah student - there's something special about them". If cost and location hadn't been a problem, I would have loved my grandsons to have gone there. They have gradually been extending into secondary years and I note that their results in the annual Naplan testing recently were among the highest in the state. (Not that this alone is a measure of educational success but it just shows that their concentration on non academic skills in the early years is no disadvantage at all). Well worth considering. I have even heard of parents doing the daily commute from Hobart city to take their early years children there - and that has to be a recommendation in itself!
