#Sydney - Live out nanny needed urgently - 4 days a week (34+ hrs per week) at Private Home

We’re looking for a fun, enthusiastic and motivated nanny to look after our active 13 month old boy for 4 days/week near manly.

Ideally, you would help us on Tuesdays to Fridays (or we could also do Mondays to Thursdays, depending on your availability) from approx 9am to 5.30pm.

Our home is located 15 minutes walk from Warringah Mall and Manly Dam, and is close to local shops and parks, and the beach is 5 min drive or 30 min walk away.

I (Mum) work from home at least one day a week, so I will be around to assist (and breast feed), so you’ll need to be comfortable with this, while having the initiative and flexibility to keep to our son’s daily schedule.

As a live-out, part-time nanny, your responsibilities will be:

-Sole care of one child, 2 days a week (except in school holidays, see below)

-Engaging and planning activities that are developmentally appropriate and stimulating (including playtime outside at the park or beach)

-House hold duties (washing, folding laundry, grocery shopping, tidying up)

-Happy to prepare healthy and nutritious meals (for baby and sometimes family)

-Ad hoc babysitting from time to time

-Be happy to offer flexibility with hours

-Be also able to look after 5 and 9 year old (baby’s half brothers) for the same 2 days a week during 50% of school holidays.

To be considered you must:

-Live nearby say within 30 min commute.

-Have 2 years+ paid experience with working with children

-Hold a childcare certificate or are currently studying childcare/teaching (highly desired but not absolutley required)

-Current First Aid Certificate

-Have or be happy to apply for Working With Children’s Check

-Be able to offer flexibility of hours when needed

-Be energetic, kind, patient, caring and tidy

-Must have experience/confidence with babies under 12 months (and some experience with older children 5 to 9 years)

-Able to display confidence and maturity

-A drivers license (if you have your own car…great otherwise you can drive ours)

-WHV or work visa – be available for a min. 6 months
