PommyPaul
Great pics. Hopefully you got some decent rain for the crops you've just put in. the rains actually been pretty good out here, had a big rain a week or two ago then a few days of 1mm, 3mms plus some really heavy dews, great soil out here as well so boss is hoping for a good result this harvest.... it's almost been too wet haha as been struggling to get the spraying done. Guest
It's a balancing act for sure with too much, not enough or the wrong time. Our main enemy is frost grapes don't do well if we get a bad frost at the wrong time. The trials and tribulations of farming. Lol
PommyPaul
it's a funny old game for sure, how do you harvest your grapes? a year or so ago i applied for a job harvesting grapes and didn't even realise till then that they could be mechanically harvested
Guest
Machine harvested at night too hot in the day as it summer time late January till April. Don't suppose you applied through Harvest work solutions? They were based in Moree at one point not sure if they are still? An Irish couple ran the company.
