The SOL 2015-2016 has been released and comes into force on 1st July 2015.

Panelbeaters and cabinet makers will be added to the Skilled Occupation List for independent skilled migration applicants.

Other key changes to the SOL include the removal of urban and regional planners, dentists and dental specialists.

Additional occupations have been flagged for close review in next year’s process.

Thanks for the link, that is an interesting read. I wonder why they don't keep all their systems in-sync? The new border.gov.au site includes the SOL Occupation Ceilings for the previous 2014/2015 Migration Programme.

Yes, I agree. Presumably when the site went live it was still before midnight so the info on it would not be valid until then. I'm sure it will be updated soon enough.

PS. I'm sorry your post got flagged for moderation. New members can't @ another member until they have a certain number of posts under their belt (stops the spammers annoying our members!)

I approved your post so it now shows on the thread.

Welcome, and I hope you enjoy the forum.

Thank you for doing that... I've been a 'reader' of PIO for a long time but only recently joined. I'm still feeling my feet when it comes to posting and treading carefully so as not to break any rules, so sorry if I make any newbie mistakes.

The legislative instrument is the authoritative document, everything is subsequently updated from that.

Hello All, According to the new SOL my occupation is still in the list. But not in the CSOL .I am intend to apply for 190 under state sponsorship. Because of my occupation has not in CSOL , would I be not eligible for getting an sponsorship from the state government? However my occupation still has under the particular state sponsorship list.

I have read through the web about this and get mixed answers. Could you guys please help me out. cheers
