currency-transfers.jpgInterested in potentially getting a better deal than your bank when sending money overseas? If so, you should consider using a foreign exchange specialist company when sending money to or from Australia.

A specialist company, like Moneycorp, can offer you great exchange rates and free expert guidance on the Australian dollar to save you time and money when transferring money abroad.

When using Moneycorp you can expect exchange rates that are typically up to 4% better than you would get from a high street bank - this can make a huge difference to your finances.

Special offer - no transfer fees

Your bank may charge you anything from £20 to £40 (or currency equivalent) to send your money to or from Australia. Moneycorp don’t charge commission and exclusively for Poms in Oz members all transfer fees are waived – so you can save money on transfer fees alone.

I did our first small transfer with moneycorp last week and found the process very efficient and our money arrived in our new Australian bank account on the date scheduled.

Only criticism is of the internet account adviser, not the money dealer, who had a bit of an attitude.

Best wishes

Steve

Hi Steve

Pleased to hear the process went smoothly - being a PIO member, you should have benefitted from no transfer fees.

Feel free on private message me and I can explore the other issue you mention.

Kind regards

Hi Steve, we did our first transfer last week too, like you we tried with a smallish amount and very pleased to see how easy and quickly it all went through - with all the other migrating things I have to worry about at least transferring money wont be one of them now! :-)

Best wishes

I have an existing Moneycorp account in London paying my pension into my Spanish bank account. When I switch to paying into Aus account do I get free transfer?

Please private message me your full name/contact details and I can make sure transfer fees are waived.

Hi John, could you please tell me how easy and what fee's are associated with paying the visa fee through yourselves?

This could be possible and I've asked one of the team to contact you - thanks

Hi John

I'm sure it would help many of us who are considering how we would pay the 2nd VAC on our 143 parent visas if you could confirm on here if it is possible to pay using your services and at what cost (if any).

Regards

Steve

Hi Steve

Would it be a bankers draft involved or a bank to bank international transfer?

Thanks

Hi John

From my understanding I believe it has to be a bankers draft.

Perhaps you could copy your response onto the main parent visa section of the forum as this is being discussed on there also?

Thanks

Steve

Is it possible to send money to the Philippines? I check your currency list, I did not find Philippine peso.

We can help - perhaps send me a private message with your phone number and I can arrange one of the team to call?

Thanks

John

Quick question: Anyone have any experience with the money transfer promotion here on Pomsinoz with 'Moneycorp'? We have some savings to transfer and would always love to eliminate fees :-). However, very quiet on the thread

Hi @Sama there are lots of happy Moneycorp customers, they tend to message @John from Moneycorp direct or use the Moneycorp forum to post http://www.pomsinoz.com/forum/money-transfer-ask-moneycorp/
