beatlespring
As per the citizenship ACT, the overseas spouse of an australian must show a close and continuing association with Australia. How to understand the close and continuing association with Australia? If the applicant owns a property in AU, is this treated as close and continuing association with Australia? dmjg
I would think so. I can't even remember a question of that type on the citizenship paperwork, although ours was August last year. Citizenship paperwork was so much easier than the visa stuff. Its hard work to get in, but if you want to stay, so much easier.
