Ahhhhhhhh, didn't spot that. Our bills are sky high at around $600 per quarter, I think it's because we're in an old weatherboard house and have a water tank in the loft that heats overnight which must be costing us a fortune in electricity. It sounds like a bloody Lancaster Bomber coming in to land at 5am in the morning, Landlord won't do bugger all about it :realmad:

How long until my teacher girlfriend gets to bring home that sort of cash :)... shes 4th year of teaching

 

Another 8 years or so..........

they have solar as per the note on the spreadsheet, that'll be why! Mind you we rarely get a bill over $200/qtr, and have aircon on all night in summer!

 

Electricity would be nearly $300 lower per year if the ohs parents didn't come over for 3 months at a time over summer. The granny flat has electric aircon, electric oven, electric hot water service, etc, etc, etc.
