HappyHeart
Does anyone have any idea what sort of price I'm looking at for Dec 2014? Perth to Manchester. Can't find anything online...too early. Hoping to fly around 6th Dec.
Peach
Have you looked? Really? You can currently book flights up until the 19th Jan 2015 - so depending on when you're coming back you can back now..

Is that because of time of year? Think I paid 1600 last October. Was hoping going early dec wouldn't be too bad
Guest
Depending on when in December I'd expect to pay $1500-1800 It's the most expensive time of year to go.
HappyHeart
Well that's fine LR and what I was hoping for. Thanks. Not sure if im best booking early or closer to? Price wise I mean
Guest
In my experience book sooner rather than later, subscribe to the emails from all the airlines you would consider flying on - most have '24 hour sales' - even if you only save $150 pp it all helps. Have a look at KLM - not as direct as Emirates as you will transit in Singapore and Amsterdam but we got flights for about $1300 and then upgraded our seats on the Singapore - Amsterdam leg for $150 each (one way). HappyHeart
Thanks LR. You got good deals. I just checked Qatar... $2600!! Checked emirates this am but cant get a price with them so wrongly assumed same for all. I usually use jetabroad as a good comparison site
bcworld
Seems a lot. Is that because of time of year? Think I paid 1600 last October. Was hoping going early dec wouldn't be too bad October is one of the cheapest months to fly. Early December will be more expensive however prices usually sky rocket for departures 10(ish)-24th December...so that's the period you really need to avoid...which it sounds like you will.
