confuse for apply 190 visa

hi all,

I have gather the information as below;

1. 38 years old : 25 points

2. outside working experience: 15 points

3. qualification : 15 points

4. ielts: average 6.5 : 0 point

I need to get another 5 points to apply PR.

My question is, am i able to use the 55 points above to get sponsorship from NSW?

I just want to be 100 percent sure as i do saw some forum does indicate that they was rejected by the immigration due to not enough point.

And can i apply for System Administration as new application from ACS as i already have System Analyst skill assessment which is going to expire this Nov.

Not quite sure I understand the first question about points. You need 60 points to apply, if you secure state sponsorship then that is your other 5 and you have 60. Nobody can say if you will succeed in getting the state sponsorship, you would just have to try and see. There is no reason for anyone to have a visa rejected for not having enough points, just don't lodge an application unless you do have the points...

I am not really an expert on IT things, but if you have been assessed for one occupation in the past and you seem to be claiming quite a number of years experience in that occupation too going off your points, I would not have thought you could reuse that experience for a different occupation.

After you have your skill assessment, you can apply for state nomination and submit EOI at SkillSelect at the same time. When you get the nomination, you will be invited to lodge an application from SkillSelect right away.

So, i will apply for new application for the ACS as System Administration.

Once i got the positive as System Administration, i will apply for state sponsorship from NSW and do the EOI at the same time.

I will apply ACS tomorrow then.
